Biography
Ridha Dahmane is a Tunisian painter active for several decades, based in Hammam Sousse. He describes himself as a visual artist placing art in service of the human, and his works portray everyday Tunisian life.
His exhibition "الحياة رؤية مفتوحة" ("Life, an Open Vision") was presented in September 2023 at Dar Ali Douagi in Hammam Sousse. He has received local recognition, including at Tourism Office events and in the presence of the Minister of Culture.
An artistic approach
Ridha Dahmane's figurative style captures fragments of Tunisian daily life — fishermen, craftsmen, medina scenes, childhood — as pieces of a collective memory worth preserving.
